Pastor Daniel

Daniel Coughlin brings a unique blend of pastoral heart, life experiences, and theological training to Morrill Baptist Church. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve Christ''s Church and is committed to preaching the Word, administering the sacraments, and shepherding the flock with grace and truth.

    Daniel, Tamra, and their six children have lived in Sabetha, Kansas since 2011.

  • Ordained Pastor

    Daniel was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel by Evangel Presbytery on 2 November 2025. Evangel Presbytery is a Reformed body committed to historic Protestant doctrine and practice.

  • Training for Ministry

    Daniel trained for pastoral ministry at New Geneva Academy and was mentored for ministry at Trinity Reformed Church in Bloomington, Indiana.

  • Call to Ministry

    With over a decade of experience as a Kansas attorney, Daniel witnessed firsthand the deep spiritual needs that brought families to his office.

  • Doctrinal Positions

    Daniel affirms the Westminster Confession of Faith and the historic creeds of the Church and values unity in the essentials of the faith.

  • Education

    Daniel holds a Master of Divinity from Evangel Presbytery, a Juris Doctor from the University of Toledo, and a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry from the University of Michigan.
